We collect information you provide directly: name, email address, and password when you register; content you create such as games, word lists, and class names; and student nicknames or progress data that teachers enter.
We also collect usage data automatically: pages visited, features used, session duration, IP address, browser type, and device type.
We use your information to operate and improve the Service; send transactional communications such as account confirmations and billing notices; provide customer support; and analyze usage patterns to improve features.
We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.
We share data only with: (a) service providers acting on our behalf for hosting, email delivery, and payment processing; (b) law enforcement when required by applicable law; and (c) parties involved in a merger or acquisition of Decky, subject to continued privacy protections.
We take student privacy seriously. Data entered by teachers about students (nicknames, scores, progress) is used solely to operate classroom features and is never sold, shared with advertisers, or used for any purpose beyond the Service.
We retain account data as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing [email protected]. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
We use industry-standard safeguards including TLS encryption in transit and AES-256 encryption at rest. Access to personal data is restricted to authorized personnel. No system is perfectly secure; we encourage you to use a strong, unique password.
